Sheron Ravi has worked internationally as an expert in trauma and addiction, and combines a variety of different approaches to achieve positive transformation. With thirteen years clinical experience, she consults on a wide range of presenting problems, including dysfunctional relationships, depression, anxiety and phobias, self-harm, suicidal ideation and behaviour, abuse and neglect, bereavement and loss, post-abortion stress, ADHD, OCD, autism spectrum disorders, bipolar, schizophrenia, and dissociative and psychotic disorders.
She is highly skilled in the treatment of the causes and symptoms of trauma, using Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, having trained at Levels 1-4. EMDR is one of the two forms of treatment recommended for the treatment of trauma by the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) and by the National Health Service (NHS). It is also the most widely researched and globally recognised mode of trauma therapy.
Sheron works one-to-one with adolescents and adults, with couples and families from all backgrounds, providing tailored treatment for each individual. She integrates a range of therapeutic approaches, including: Schema Therapy, Mindfulness, Systemic Family Therapy, Psychodynamic, Gestalt and Transpersonal.
