Volunteers are integral to our organisation , in helping us to deliver our services to the community, whilst, in turn being given the opportunity to gain experience and skills in a diverse, creative environment. Many volunteers have proceeded to gain employment within the company.

Please be aware that due to the nature of our work, it is obligatory that all staff members be willing to undertake a Criminal Records Check. You will need to submit 2 forms of personal identification, (e.g. Passport, birth certificate, driving licence, N.I. no, and proof of address).Once you have submitted your forms, you will be invited to attend an interview to establish your reasons for wanting to volunteer with us and to ascertain which departments you are interested in becoming involved with.
Once all this is in place, you will need to attend an Induction, in which you will learn about Whippersnappers aims, objectives , company ethos and history. We will also cover Health and Safety Issues, Child Protection Policies and appropriate codes of conduct.
Please dont let all this bamboozle you! They are necessary procedures, which are in place for the benefit of everyone.
