Wasc FC vs St Judes Year 5
Wasc FC played our third football match on Friday 19th June, losing 11:5 after a brave performance against Year 5 students from St Judes. The 7-a-side match had Wasc play with 7 children in years 3 and 4, producing a battling performance. Congratulations to Chioma, Ezra D, Ezra B, Emmanuel, Krystal, Xan and Jay for not giving up when things went tough. The 5 goals were scored by Ezra D (2), Jay, Emmanuel and Krystal. The opposition were dominant throughout and could have won by a bigger margin if it were not for some outstanding saves by Xan.
Wasc were without our only year 5 child Michael who was unwell, which makes the performance stronger. We will have a rematch against them next Friday 26th June 2015. The children have learnt a lot from the defeat and are eager to produce a better result next week.
