WHIPPERSNAPPERS DISABILITY AWARENESS TRAINING
Whippersnappers are leaders in the field of disability as both service and training providers (see the trainings on offer below)
Whippersnappers have been working as an Inclusive company since 2001 when we were funded by The National Youth Foundation to deliver specialist and inclusive music workshops for children with disability.
We work closely with both Lambeth and Southwark Aiming High who have recently joint funded our new “Inclusive Community Arts Centre” in Dulwich Park. .
Since 2001 we have been delivering inclusive holiday play schemes. We currently provide specialist and inclusive holiday play opportunities for children with profound complex needs.attending The Livity School and Chery Gardens School. We also run Inclusive play schemes and after school clubs on our premises at Brockwell lido and College Lodge.
In Feb 2010 we successfully won a tender to deliver Disability Awareness training to Lambeth play settings. In 2011 Lambeth recommissioned us to deliver a “Lets Get Inclusive” training programme for Lambeth nurseries, childminders, foster carers, after school clubs and youth settings.

We have a wide range of training programmes available and can deliver bespoke training or accredited courses.
Courses can be delivered at a venue of your choice.
We are also able to offer away day training on our premises at Brockwell Lido in Brockwell Park or College Lodge in Dulwich Park with full catering facilities and a choice of menus.

Disability Awareness Training for children and Young People aged 8 – 19.
We can train your staff to deliver this training. Alternatively we can visit your setting or invite your children / young people to our premises at College Lodge or Brockwell Lido.
