Whippersnappers use safer recruitment practices to ensure that all people working with the children in our care are safe and qualified to do so. When recruiting paid staff or volunteers we will follow Whippersnappers safeguarding policies and procedures. All staff and volunteers will be required to have an enhanced DBS certificate and provide 2 referees prior to commencing work.

Whippersnappers Baby and Toddler Music Tutors
Applicants must be musical, able to sing and enjoy drama and role play. They must have a warm character and good communication skills. A good understanding of early years child development is required. Applicants must really love working with children and have a playful and fun loving character..

One to one support worker for children with disabilities
Whippersnappers are recruiting support workers to join ours out of school childcare team. We are interested in employing staff who are available to work in the afternoons from 2pm to 6pm / Saturdays 9.30am to 2pm and school holidays. Applicants must have experience working with children aged 5 to 13 years. Experience of supporting children with disabilities is an advantage. We are looking for energetic staff who are committed to enabling children to participate in creative child-led activities in an out of school setting.

Work Experience and Volunteering
Whippersnappers offer work experience to secondary school pupils and college/ degree students. Work placements can last anything from 1 week to 1 year. We are totally inclusive so don’t hesitate to contact us. We also have a number of secondary school students that are peer mentors at our after school clubs and holiday playschemes.
