Lambeth Early Action Partnership (LEAP)

Whippersnappers are excited to announce we have been awarded a small pot of funding from the LEAP CoCreate Fund to deliver a new project for pre-school children with additional needs living in Lambeth. There are also additional places available for families with children who are 0-3 living in Lambeth wards of Stockwell, Coldharbour, Tulse Hill and Vassall  Wards.

The project is called “The choose what we do club” and will be launched at The Liz Atkinson Children’s Centre, 9, Mostyn Rd, SW9 6PH on Monday 21st February 2022.

The launch event will take place from 1 pm to 3.30 pm and will offer children and their grown-ups a chance to try some taster sessions from our menu of creative activities.

Come along if:

  • You have a pre-school child with additional needs;
  • You sometimes wonder if your child might have additional needs;
  • You and your child would like to support children with additional needs in a mixed group setting.

The project will run from Feb 2022 to Sept 2022 on different days of the week and across 3 venues: Brockwell One O’clock Club, Liz Atkinson Children’s Centre and Whippersnappers Brockwell lido site.
Please contact if you would like to join the club or need more information. Please do also spread the word so we can offer the activities and support to as many pre-school children with additional needs, who live in Lambeth, as possible.
